LCP: MT Episode 27 - Princess Mononoke

From deep in the ancient fog of Japanese history comes the epic tale of the Princess of the Beasts and the Prince who falls in love with her. Princess Mononoke is one of Studio Ghibli's best (if such a ranking could ever be made), and is the film that got America's attention. It's beautiful, and perfect. Or so Max would have us believe.

Dale is less forthcoming in his praise of this film, but therein lies the joys of the Mix Tape Low Charisma Party. Listen at, and love on.

LCP: MT Episode 25 - First Blood

Stallone cuts. It's what the profs eat, and it's what this Mix Tape is all about. Listen along as Dale and Max sit down to watch the ever-parodied and mostly mis-remembered First Blood ("Rambo: First Blood" as it was later called). Dale loves playing in the woods, and Max loves 80's police chases, and of course we ALL love when mistreated vets get their come-uppance. So check this. And feel the warmth of John Rambo's love. Ya know he died for our sins...

LCP: MT Episode 24 - Animal Crackers

We can now come clean about why we've been absent from the cast-waves as of late: we were traveling back in time to the '30's, in order to get a copy of this priceless classic Animal Crackers. Time travel takes awhile (just listen in on episode 1, and you'll see what I mean), so here we are, three months later, and ten thousand years awesomer. Maybe not as great as Groucho, but who is? Really. Who.

Oh and stay tuned--we really are back. In a few days we'll have another couple episodes up (just in time for Jesus Day!), and then BAM. Season two will begin. Can't you handle that? Won't you go nuts for this? Groucho did.
